For whom?

18 and 27 year olds with a residence permit "Aufenthaltsgestattung" or "Duldung".

Why?

The aim is to successfully integrate them into the labour market on a part-time basis and to stabilise their career prospects by providing them with qualifications to accompany their work and training and with individual coaching.

What?

The TAFF project is divided into three main areas:

  1. Individual counselling, support and finding employment for participants who are inte-rested in part-time training or employment.
  2. Preparatory and work-accompanying quali-fications.
  3. Support for participating training companies and employers.

The young refugees are supported with individual counselling and guidance in their search for part-time training or employment. Potentially suitable training companies and enterprises are also approached by TAFF.

A qualification is oriented towards the individual needs of the participants. It begins with a skills assessment, which enables the participants to recognise their personal strengths and abilities and to develop realistic career aspirations. Parallel to training and employment, the topics that are important for the participants' everyday work and training are dealt within the course.

Before, during and after the start of training or work, the TAFF counsellors are the contact persons for the participants and the companies.

TAFF is organised by IN VIA in cooperation with the Municipal Integration Centre of the Paderborn district.

When?

Individually by arrangement

Where?

IN VIA Paderborn e.V., Bahnhofstr. 19, 33102 Paderborn

Who sponsors the programme?

TAFF is a project within the framework of module 5 of the state initiative "Durchstarten in Ausbildung und Arbeit" (Starting in Training and Work) of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs and the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
